Established in 2021, we have worked in and around the global music scene with a host of talents and media teams to curate experiences for our local and diaspora audience on the pillar of people and community build.

the backstory

A story, told from LAGOS - now in IRELAND & UNITED KINGDOM

In 2021, we started our little Journey from Lagos, Nigeria. A music community was birthed into a cultural movement.
In 2023, we expanded event operations to Ireland. Our first diaspora event saw us take our flagship event, Lemon room to the African diaspora audience in the city of Limerick.
2024,we expanded into the United Kingdom with Lemon Room Manchester and Merch '24.

Birth of the Album

With music at the forefront of our existence as well as being a hugely immersing art culture in Africa and the world at large, we sought to chip in our drive and excitement to the art as old as man.

As such we called out for budding, exciting and emerging creatives; artistes, producers & AnRs to bless us with their talents and time in our music camp in the July of 2022.

Our call was graciously answered with the presence of diverse music creatives in our boot camp, who delivered on their talents to creating an exceptional album with us.

Going through many PHASES

Our album takes listeners on a journey through life’s phases, beginning with Part A’s Afrobeats, exploring themes of longing ("Take Mine"), intrigue ("Rumours"), and hope ("Tomorrow").
Part B transitions through the "Lemon Interlude" into diverse genres, from the dynamic "Opic" and "Gaza" to reflective tracks like "Sapa Marathon" and "Losing Myself."
Blending Afrobeats, drill, hip-hop, pop, funk-pop, and R&B, this album celebrates emerging talents shaping the future of Nigerian and global music.
